Lone Star Riding Club
Group & Private Riding Lessons
We offer group riding lessons & private riding lessons in both English and Western disciplines to our Riding Club members. We teach Basic English/Western, Equitation, Horsemanship, and Over Fences class types in a semester-long format (we don't sell lessons by the month).

Weekly Private Riding Lessons, for riders of every skill level, both English and Western.

1 weekly Private lesson and 1 weekly group riding lesson, as well as a lesson horse lease and a monthly Barnworks day with your lesson horse.

Levels: UR-D1
Discover your love for horses. These individualized sessions are designed to teach horseback riding to beginner riders with little or no previous experience. Students will develop their Horse Management skills through practical experience and will receive an Equitation Riding Lesson with up to 2 riders per session. Students should expect half of their lesson to be focused on learning the basics of horsemanship and the remaining time mastering the UR-D1 riding skills. Youth Intro riders may be required to have an additional person (i.e.- parent) to assist. We expose students to try the different riding styles (English & Western) in this class to encourage students to explore their options. In order to build the rider’s strength, students will be given physical exercises assignments as homework between riding sessions.
